Lives and works in New Delhi, India.
The artist’s journey from literature to painting deeply informs the themes and tropes she works with. Like a book—with its plot, subplots, embedded narratives, and nested stories—her work is driven by a desire to visualise layered storytelling. Her paintings reflect this complexity: they teem with activity, often blurring the line between foreground and background.
Her paintings move fluidly between mythic archetype and personal psyche, interweaving creation‑myths, feminine embodiment and introspective rupture. Across scales and media, recurring tropes of birth, transformation and self‑collision emerge against a backdrop of richly textured surfaces—a practice that continually renegotiates the boundary between story and image.
She is also the founder of tl;dr, an interdisciplinary design studio.
